1. Adhesive tape production equipment

Before 1990s, the production equipment of adhesive tape in China was mainly imported. After the 1990s, many factories began to develop their own adhesive tape production equipment. At present, there are more than 10 adhesive tape equipment manufacturers in China. The equipment of many manufacturers has been exported in large quantities. Representative manufacturers are: Zhuozhou Huaxia Machinery Co., Ltd. (Hebei Huaxia group), Changzhou Yongsheng Packaging Co., Ltd., Wenzhou Shenli group, etc.

Coaters are mainly 1.3m in width, and are developing in a wider direction. Coaters with 1.6m and 2m in width have been supplied. The coating speed of BOPP adhesive tape can reach 120-150 m · min-1, and that of PVC adhesive tape can reach 20-30 m · min-1. The degree of automation of the equipment is gradually improving.

2. Production of raw materials

Adhesive tape industry is closely related to the plastic industry. The main plastic films used in adhesive tape are BOPP film, PE film, PVC film, PET film, etc. Among them, BOPP film manufacturers are more than 50, more than 80 production lines, annual production capacity of 500000 tons. Other such as PVC, PE, PET film also have a large number of manufacturers, basically meet the needs of the adhesive tape industry.

In recent years, the output of synthetic rubber and natural rubber has been increasing, especially the variety of synthetic rubber. The elasticity of SIS and SBS, which used to depend on imports, has been produced by Yanshan Petrochemical Company and Yueshan petrochemical company.

Three acrylic monomers have been produced on a large scale. Tackifying resin industry has gradually matured. Both variety and quantity can meet the demand of pressure-sensitive adhesive tape industry. In the past, it can only provide rosin and terpene resin, but now it can provide all kinds of petroleum resin and hydrogenated petroleum resin.
